I READ SOMEWHERE WHERE THE NEPTUNES STOPPED USING THE 3000 AND GOT AN MPC 2000XL AND JUST RECENTLY TRIED THE 4000 BUT RETURNED IT TO THE STORE CUZ CHAD DID NOT HAVE TIME TO LEARN ALL THAT ISH.

yea that story was true but it was pharell that didnt have time to learn it cause he programs most to the drums for the neps. It just go to show its not about keeping up with the jones its about what will let you get the job done as good and fast as you could.

anybody read that EQ magazine with the rodney jerkins interview, that fat dude still uses the mpc3000, he got dat new roland v-synth too.
