Hello,
I am to the MPC line, and I recently got an MPC 1000. Is it possible to hook this up and use the pads on it and do real time recording in Garage Band(or any app for that matter)? Thanks in advance!

yea just have a midi interface hooked up to your mac and you should be able to assign parameters.

Alright, I have the 1k hooked up to my Mac through the M-Audio Uno(midi to usb converter), but Garage Band is reading it, but not responding. Any suggestions?

how is it "reading it"? You are trying to trigger internal sounds in garageband with the mpc pads?
