Digi 001

this guy i know has a digi 001w/version 6.4 for sale for less to nothing he wants like 75 bucks for it,i was thinking of just getting an m-box but the digi 001 has more inputs,i know digi design doesn't support the hardware anymore but cann i still upgrade the software to the new version 7.0?i think i might just cop it for the price but i don't want to get stuck with something that i'll have to upgrade in a year or 2

digi 001 supports up to pt le 6.4.

beat is correct, anything higher then 6.4 wont work on the 001, the new digi plugs(EQIII, DynamicsIII) will work with 6.4 even though digi says it's not supported, just in case you cop it.....

thanks for the info.so will 6.9 or 7.0 read session files from 6.4
so if i have a session from the digi001 & go to my friends house who has the mbox will it load up the session?
