I believe he's using a MPD 16(?) from AKAI. You know. The one with just the pads? It's painted black and he's probably running it thru a lap top which was out of the scene.

nope its the black/grey mpc 2000xl LE, side shot.
umm he probably wasnt really "using" it, ya know like all the dj rigs in videos/commericals arent hooked up and have no power cords coming out of it. oh yeah and I bet that wasnt an airplane either it was likely a set.

If you guys would notice it was very small compared to any regular MPC. It was definately a MPD or something they made specifically for him.

Dude,

Dre was using the MPC3000 LE. I know that for a fact.

I have to admit, that was sweet to see.

regardless, the **** is usinig an mpc....bottomline.

Its **** hilliarous how people make things out the way they want instead of lookin at the facts. First off its a mpc 2000xl , not a mpd16 , not a 3000 all you have to do is pay attention. One its not a mpd16 cause the **** screen is flipped up on the machine so its not a mpd. Then its not a 3000 cause the pads are on the right of the machine instead of the left where the 3000's are. So for all you cats that said it was not a mpc2000XL take another look before you guarantee ####. I'm out.

Its not a 3000 cause they are **** huge and wouldnt fit on a plane.
