I'm having difficulty removing third party CF cards from my 1000, I searched the board and counldn't find anything, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's experienced this, . .any solutions?!

check inside your mpc to make sure none of the pins are bent.

no, no pins bent, the problem occurs with removal only. the akia card removes easily when i press the button it damn near shoots out. but with my lexar cards that i use with digi cam as well, . . they don't eject as readily and require a little more than a tug. . .

hmm strange, i guess you could try a different make.

@sparq maybe another sticky for CF cards is required?

The title of the thread had changed after Penfold left the forums. That's why you didn't notice it right away.

But anyway, all the CF card and ram info is there for whoever needs it.
