Ok. here is the thing. For example when I record a 2 bar sequence and later I erase the first bar using DELETE in SEQ edit, and after adding a blank bar so there is 2 again, I can't record over everything coz it lets me record 1 bar and then just loops it. Anyone had that problem before or it's just a MPC limitation??

When u delete bars in seq edit, it actually shortens the sequence. So even tho u are adding another bar back in, the sequence length (top right of main screen) is still shortened. All u have to do is to change that sequence length back to 2 bars. An easier way to erase just 1 bar would be to use the erase button and specify which bar(s). That way it will just delete the notes and not the actual bar so that you dont have to insert a bar back in.

thx man but it doesn't work. I used to just delete bars in seq edit and later insert or copy bars. now it just loops it at the point where I first erased the bar (the whole bar). " All u have to do is to change that sequence length back to 2 bars." I dont get that part. Please explain, where and how?
thx

On the MAIN screen in the top right corner, second line from the top it says "Bars:#" with a number. Change that number.

if you want your hit hats to loop perfectly change your time correction to 16th notes and try to hit the pads with a steady roll , the machine will correct the notes and if you hit them close anuf it will put them all at 16th note marks creating a steady roll, its basically the exact same as quantization

Look for where it says 'loop to bar'. After you delete bar and paste in another blank bar, you most likely, pasted before bar 1, and that changed to 'loop to bar 2'. Change it to 'loop to bar 1'.
