I've done a search...triggering AND record, pad AND triggering I can't find my answer, i'm wondering if the pads can trigger my sample and start recording. Like if I hit the pads it triggers the sample and record at the same time.

2 birds, one stone...

I'm also noticing that the swing is basically only for 2 or more smaples. Like you can't use swing on one sample can you. Say I have a drum loop. Th eswing won't manipulate that one sample of drums but several seperat samples put together. Is this correct?

Anyways..i'm still taking this 1K for a test drive.

Im not sure what u talkin about for the triggering thing, but as far as the swing goes, it's not gonna do much for you on a looped breakbeat, it's really mor useful when you programming your own drums.

obviously, the swing cannot manipulate the drum sounds within a sample, all it does in move around the quantization on the sequencing of the start points of samples, not the actual sounds themselves. thats pretty much imposible i think.

haha is it really that difficult to hit record/play?

with a footswitch you can set it to hit "rec/play," that might be what you wanted

they'er like 7 bucks at gc
