it has balanced/unbalanced outs right????

tracking shit individualy dosent seem that hard, who needs more patch bay maddness?

Not harder, just slower, and less convenient. I've said this before, but the 8-output card is a luxury if you're multitracking. If you're not multitracking its a little more useful/important.

Yeah, I'm sure. If you'd like a second opinion, why not go to Akai Professional directly. They have several websites, the main one of which is http://www.akaipro.com. You can also download the MPC2000XL instruction manual from there. It's a good read.

I considered getting the 8 outs a long time ago. But I discoverd that getting all my samples to sound exactly the way I wanted them and mixing down all the levels on the tracks diminished my need for it. The EFX card really helps me out when tweaking some sounds. Then I just run the stereo outs into my VS1680.
