FL 6 and MPC midi

wuzup peoples.. i wont be makin anymore of these newbie topics...but i'm holden off use'n my mpc til i further upgrade it, but until then, ima use it as a midi controller in FL 6.

i got a midi cable, and my soundcard is an emu 1212m with a midi in and out.

i plugged the midi cable into midi out, and i'm running it into the midi "in" in the back of my soundcard..

i cant get any signal in fl..

this is the first time ive ever said this on this forum.

please try the search function first. this site is loaded with midi information.

give that a try and then we can guide you from that point on.

also midi is covered in your mpc manual. try that as well.

ok.. i'm able to play my fl projects by pressing play on the mpc, but the pads dont trigger any drums.

Did you try opening the MPD16 template?

Make sure all your settings in "Midi settings" are corrects with your soundcard. Your ports too.

are your midi settings correct on your MPC?

ey capshun, do u know what gear stoupe uses? his drums always sound punchy as hell

stoupe uses n mpc i think its a 2000 or 2000xl. thats what i heard
