I had problems with that button too...

how did you actually repair it?

it's still not repaired.

I think it's some strange bug.
sometimes it works, sometimes not.

i changed the entire top board on my mpc, now all my buttons are perfect, and my pads feel more responsive. i couldnt figure out how to change one button, but i think you would need a souldering iron and ish.
