Next Sequence Function.
Maybe you find it in the Manual.

In the Next Sequence screen I can assign to the pads a command that lets it know which sequence to play next. But my external midi pads are still playing the samples from the program bank. I need the external triggers to restart the sequence, similar to the PLAY START button.
Any ideas? Thanks.

go to 'next seq' then press the PAD soft key. as easy as that. i dont what these external midi pads you talk of are, maybe sustaining notes or a stuck note.

Ah.. this way. Sorry.
An idea can be, to make Loops or Phrases with the Sequences and assing this Loops/ Phrases to the Pads. So you have on each pad a Sequence (Loop/Phrase) that you can trigger with the Pads or external Controller.
And with the mono function in Program> Parameters you can make a (Sequence) is stop when the next is starting. Don't know the name of this.
Hope this will help.Peace.
