Though i've made some nice tracks with the MP... i'm still fairly a beginner.. Just a question somethin i couldn't really grasp.... When i change the number of bars and it says i have to Insert some, to make everything fit... how do i do it? Like say I have a high hat set at 2 bars.... then i change it to 4 bars, and i want to keep the hi hat going at all times... what do I do? Do you even understand what i'm saying, because the way i'm explainin it is wierd...

highlight edit and hit open window then on the left side screen the number up top represents where to begin the loop and the bottom where the loop ends. Using your example it would be : the top number 1,
the bottom number2.

Now on your right side screen enter the number of bars that you will be looping and again using your example you would select 2 and at the bottom you would enter the number of times to copy that loop length.

NOTE: Using your example, if you entered 1 here you would wind up with a 4 bar loop. If you were to enter 3 you would get a 8 bar loop. So basically it's a multiplication situation multiplied by the number up top.
Have fun! ! Oh yeah one more thing this affects the whole sequence not just one track.
