That's an unreal price and it's even worse since it doesn't seem to have V3.10, SCSI or RAM.
If it was an expanded unit it would be on the higher end of the 60 market.

that one has the scsi installed but it is definitely overpriced

There is no mention of SCSI in the ad????
I hope you aren't just looking at the picture since all mkI 60's had the RS jack on the back that did nothing.

I got mine for 500. It has the expanded memory and the 3.10 update. But no scsi. :(

Still not a bad deal if it was in good condition.

The average price of an MPC 60 is just under $800. As an old eBay MPC re-seller, I would try to sell it to you for $900-$1000. But if I was buying it myself...I would pay in the $500-$650 range. Many of the used MPC 60s on the market has screens that are dim and need to be replaced as well as many of the buttons. When I purchase used MPCs..I expect to spend $50-$200 for minor repairs and cleaning so that I am passing on a top quality MPC to customers.

500-800 depending on the condition and features. I'd pay 500 for a stock 60 in good condition. Up to 800 for OS, mem, and possibly SCSI depending on the condition of the unit. If it was close to mint 700-800 even without the SCUZZ would still be a fair price. Follow the 'bay for awhile and you'll see this is the average.

i'd pay no more than 700 for a fully upgraded one

without 3.10 and scsi $500 at the most :-)

to add to that, i think you will find one at 700, wait a bit and u def. will...

i waited a bit, didn't want to pay more than 1100 for an mpc3000, and bought one *on ebay* for $800;-)

For 700 youll be waiting for one sold in "As is condtion" and end up getting ripped in the end most likely with all the upgrades. You can wait... and search but i have been doing that for the last 4 months and its too risky to drop the dough on unreliable sellers. Unless you's a PLAYA! Most people who sell their 60's in "excellent" condition turn out being less than mint with "minor" problems that could be costly and turn that 700 dollar 60 into a 800-900 machine.
