This is bananas 1k OS you don't want to pass by this thread

i just cant believe it's not out yet. i'm about to cry. wats going on??????? i have been so good and quite and i appreciate things people have done but............ i just cant believe this. when? when? when? fukc. judt someone from akai or spark say if i should take back the $120 hard drive and call the adapter a loss yet? i only have 30 days. fukc, i'm not usually one to whine like a little girl but i'm poor. this is all i have besides a old turnt and a shure sm-58 and a comp for storing things. without this i cant even have my programson my mpc. i mean it's really starting to affect me financially and all the organization i've done because the higher ups have said IT WILL DEFF. BE OUT SOMETIME SOON. fukccccc. maybe we should all let out some steam like i just dizzle.fukkkkkkkkkkkccccccccccccccccccc ok i'm better now

it will be out. keep the HDM10 and the hard drive. you can use 2gb of your hard drive as it is which is more than a CF card can hold (unless you have the 2gb CF card) it's not the end of the world. you and everyone else will 2.0 soon enough. just have to wait a little bit more.

i will continue to post. all you have to do is stop reading this thread. then you won't have to hear/read it anymore. it's that simple.

Maybe this thread should be locked until the new OS arrives?

Sparq started this thread on a positive note and we now have people bitchin' over something that (a) they are not owed and (b) didn't know about until Sparq mentioned it.

It's out on the BK, why would they not release it on the blue version? As people keep banging their head against the wall saying, it's the same machine. Now it's out on the new 1000s, Akai have no choice to release it as a download now, even if they may have been thinking about pulling it in the past, simply because it would be bad business sense not to release it. My guess is they're waiting for the time where the new OS will make the biggest impact, to catch some more 1000 sales.

I think you should bring more realistic options to the table. How many people payed a **** tonne for the mpc? i for one am not going to pay 150 **** US dollars (that buys about 600 cans of pepsi over here) for less than a **** floppy-disk worth of information.
If it was a hardware upgrade i'm all for paying, but this is software, if akai charges for it, i for one am going to do everything in my power to provide pirate copies of the OS to users far and wide.

No, I have never owned an MPC 1000 but I am familar with them..I have to be. Should Akai sell the OS upgrade?? I don't know..maybe not..but I wouldn't complain if they did with any of the OS upgrades (not updates that fix bugs). As I have stated earlier, Roland did just that with the recent OS upgrade for the Fantom workstations. If you purchased a Fantom before 1 Jan 2005, you have to pay for the upgrade. Bootlegging has not stopped them from charging people. As far as I know..the owners/regulators of this site doesnot promote pirating of software. Pirating can cause the prices of things to increase.

wow.why is everyone so impatient just go make some beats.you never know if you stay away from the forum for a while you might end up with a surprise.Also be easy on Sparq,he reported it, but he doesn't work for the company so ease up on the criticism.
