Hi! I have some doubts :?
First, when i´m recording directly into my mpc2000xl, i hear a sound all the time, like electric and everything i record sounds with that disgusting sound. The cables are ok and the sounds come through my firewire410. I have check everything but the sound still hit me. Is that a problem of the incomig converter sound or something like that?
Second, when i select my files from a scsi 100mb i can not move in the menus, for example, i check the "root", the i move to the right to check, for example "drums", i check what i want and then when i try to load something else i move the arrow to the left but it doesnt allow me to do it so i have to expluse the disk and put it again to have access to the root again.
Somebody has any idea of what can i do?
Thanks, peace and sorry for my poor english
Peace!!!!

Check all your grounding and electric plugs and wires. They shouldn't be close running alongside audio cables., shielded audio cables are good to use to minimize emi (electro magnetic interference) in audio. You can also get that sound from unconditioned power sources.

Try hitting open window and moving around in there.
