Ha. You know things are changing when DJ "MPC" Shadow has moved over to pro tools.

I remember reading in article back in 95 where he stated that he "strictly used samples". Now he's messing with soft synths and such.

I can't front b/c I enjoy my soft synths too. And recording on my PC Daw sure beats that raggedy 4-track I use to play with.

He talked about doing alot of stuff with midi. I don't think Pro tools is the best software for that.

I agree with polarAC...recording on a DAW makes things alot faster but Pro Tools is definetly not the midi app to used. Through my five to six years using software with the mp Reason, Alive, and Cubase SX are the best for midi.
