I want to midi 2 keyboards to my 1000!

I'm not sure how to go about this. I have a trition, and synth on the way. I'm using my 1000 as my main sequencer, and pro-tools on my computer to record/track out the beats. I have midi in/out A to the triton. Of course the midi in/out B to my Mbox.

My problem is,When the synth comes, how would I add that to my set up since im using both midi channels? Would I midi Thru the Triton to the synth, then back to the MPC?

I'm confused as hell. I found it somewhere before, but i can't find it anymore.
