2500 added features for same price?

Actually...the very best price that I have seen it go for with the Akai Memory, and CD drive is $1970..throwing in an additional warranty...that is an excellent deal.

Alto Music has had the reproted lowest price in the US for the 2500.

Now, with VST selling them with all the options included...this is basically the same price.

The memory is usually sold for $150 in most places..you may be able to talk it down to $100.

The CD-R/DVD Rom drive is $199 in most places.

Alto Music sells the MPC 2500 for about $1600 (when they have it in stock).

I would go with VST Service for this deal. You may not find any one to match this price with the additional warranty...VST is one of the few authroized Akai Service Centers for Warranty work...best choice.

co-sign they gave me mine for 1985 with the exm-128 and the cd drive. and an extened warranty. good deal. plus peace of mind you know u won't have some jackass installing stuff into your 2000 dollar machine that doesn't know what he is doing. VST is straight.
