Any Barry White or Isaac Hayes...but they are very popular...

F. McDonald, Johnny Dankworth, and almost any record off of Blue Note...

I could throw out so much, but the game is to be sold, not to be told...lol...

The TERM Break IZ SAID TO HAVE ORIGINATED AS A SOLO OR REST.......
(For The REST OF The BAND) one that I'm Sure BRASS Players Often NEEDED...........

SEE: DRUM BREAK or DRUM SOLO.......................

ONE OF THE FIRST BIG BREAKS WAS ON DAVE BRUBECK's "TAKE FIVE"
(JAZZ)

But DJ KOOL HERC IZ CREDITED FOR Iintroducing THE BREAKS WITHIN The "URBAN MUSIC STYLE" we Know As HIP-HOP music or RAP..........

They Would Purposely Throw ON THE BREAKS On The two Turntables to Prolong it

When Africa Bambaataa saw How The CROWD REACTED to The BREAKS HE SAID YO "THEY are Breakin' (or Breakin LOOSE)" so He Called Them B-BOYS or BREAK BOYS and Of Course This Later Fueled The "BREAKDANCE" Movement.....................

Africa Bambaataa (Father of the Zulu Nation)

The Term BREAK IZ Often used Interchangeably with the terms BREAK BEAT or DRUMLOOP and while A BREAK CAN surely be A DRUMLOOP or DRUMBEAT it can also be and Often IZ Other Things A BASSLINE a SYNTH BREAK ETC...............

TRUST THAT :!:
