Doesn't matter.

An internal modification easily fixes that.

Similar mods are performed to MPC3000 machines.

Yes but it's not as easily performed on the 2k as it is on the Xl.

thank you, been browsing around here for a while, thought i would join, broaden my horizon by some people really doin it, im just starting on hardware, already had my fruity loops phase, keyboard with acid phase, now its on to the big stuff...

so how would go about putting a card reader on the 2kclassic?

the mpc2000 classic has no internal scsi connection, but there is a way to install a internal zip. look at www.forat.com.
i want do it also by myself, but it is a hardwork and you need thr right scsi connection adapter.

whatever happen to this thread update, do you find out anything new, did you find the so called drive that should work?, just wondering, keep us inform it been two months already, anything?

Hell Nah i didnt give up I found the Drive dont worry i got yall i just been busy and shit with work and all Im actually in the Processor of buying a 4000.
