Protools and MPC Sync

I got protools mpowered 7 and a firewire 410 a few days ago

im running my juno-d into my mpc and my mpc into the firewire410 (midi)

im running audio through a mixer first and then in to the 1 and 2 ins on my firewire.

I want to sync my mpc and my juno so that when i press play in protools they play the song i made. For somereason its not controlling it...Ive read the book that came with it but its real general and dosnt tell u exactly how to sync them...

Right now when i press play on my mpc it takes a few seconds for the counter to count down then i get a lot of static (like all the notes are playing at once) and when i press stop it wont let me press play again until i change my midi channels.

How do I sync my mpc to protools?

You have to set the MPC and Pro Tools to talk with each other via midi beat clock or Midi Time Code (MTC)
