That's funny that you mention Disco D, I was a D&B dj for 7 years (raves, clubs, etc.) and I actually opened up for D quite a few times. He would piss everyone off by stopping the last record that me or the dj before him was playing and take the turntable plate off and torque it it up so that the turntable would pitch faster so he could play his records at even a faster bpm then the table was set. It took him like fifteen twenty minutes everytime he did it, which would leave the party musicless during the whole process. Then he would proceed to play ghetto 'booty' house, like two live crew ish of house music...very funny ish. Well thats my story. LOL!

I imagine that most producers probably don't know about the new OS, so they stick to the machines that have the features. BTW Oh No has a 2000XL.

I recently got tha "Behind the Beat" book, full of photos of producers studios. Ive been lookin through it, so far no 1ks, Hell of alot of 2ks and 3ks tho....

just to add on about the heatmakers. I respect they hustle those cats no how to hustle. There beats are a little better than most I really like there basslines it does drive the music, but as far as being mentioned in my fav producers prob not.
