Bass cuts off...

I tried searching but I came back with too many results that had nothing to do with my question...I am laying a bassline down with my MIDI keyboard which triggers my synth rack and sequencing it all on my MPC. It's an 8 bar loop and the problem is that when I hold the last note of the bass line, before the 8th bar, I want it to continue to when it loops back to the 1st bar, only it stops suddenly. I'm sure this problem has been covered I just can't seem to find it. Please any help would be super. Peace.

Don't let the bass overlap itself when it loops around.
Go into step edit and cut the bass off at the last sample
point before it loops around. If you don this you bass
line will continue on and loop around with the rest of the
beat.
