Just curious to know what your work flow process is using the 1000 with the Protues X? How do you transfer your sounds from the Proteus back to the 1000? Do you use sample or do you midi them? Just curious to know what its ease of use is as I am thinking of buying one. Thanks

you can't transfer audio thru a midi cable! you'd need a mixer in order to hear the proteus sounds without sampling them, and then playing them back. or you could get an audio interface for a pc/mac with multiple inputs.

hope this helps!

edit: hold on! dumbass alert! you said proteus X, right? that is the pci card one, am i right? sorry for misleading you!

It's just like when you midi up a sound module. It's hot. The sounds are better than the actual modules.
Let me know when you get it. I have the Virtuoso X & the Planet Earth X.
