Yep. Saving and loading works fine. Real fast compared to the floppy. The fan can be noisy but it doesn't make those crazy noises like the floppy when loading/saving. If that stuff matters to anyone.

What model did you get ?

Uhh. I couldn't tell you. I'm not sure. How can I look at the model number on the drive? I don't see it anywhere.

It looks like this, if it helps:

can you save a larger amount on these? I'm trying to find the advantage to these?

i think the 60 will still recognize only 30mb per partition or so, not sure if you can do multiple partitions on a flash card or whatever....

Faster loading and saving. Way more reliable than floppy or zip.

I have 5 partitions on my flash card that are 25MB each.

You mean the card format itself is slow or actually formating the card? When I formatted mine it did it instantly.

cool, I'll have to check this out

No formatting the card took time. My card was 128Mb's, and it took about the same time as a zip. maybe less I stopped watching after a minute.
I'm using a compact flash card with one of those adaptors. Anyone know if a memory stick has an adaptor suitable for these card readers?

Still pretty cool!!

Mine's an intermart PCD-15.

Do u mean a USB 2 SCSI adapter or something else? If so, that would make finding a compatible drive much easier.

A SCSI flash card reader is treated by the MPC60/MPC3000 as a conventional storage device. ( like a ZIP but more reliable ).

Multiple 29 megabyte partitions ( based on flash card capacity ) will be created on a flash card inserted into the reader.
