Do they make one of these dope stands for the MPC1000?

according to that one stand the guy posted...length is more important. Length is longer than width on that stand...think about it. On that particular stand...width on the MPC equals length on the stand.

The width adjustment is worse than the quiklok version.

could be that the other site hasn't listed all the specs, or just plain old made a mistake.

I'm sure that description from musiciansfriend is more accurate. So it looks like this stand will fit. Width is width... left to right. The length is from front to rear. For a sale price of $79.99, you can't beat it. If you want to double-check the size, go to Guitar Center with a tape measure, print the ad and have them price-match it if they have them in stock.

yeah i see your point, i think cats are having trouble cos the think the mpc will fall thru the gap in the middle, as the supports are only at the ends, but i guess you could cut a piece of wood to fit the stand?

Thats me in the picture LOL. That quick stand wont look right with the 1k because the sides that lock the MPC are too tall for the 1k. You will definately need to modify it a bit. Yes I do have 3 mpc's I actually had 4 of them at the time The picture was taken. As stated before I sell 2kx's. I get them cheap and sell them cheap. If anyone is interested pm me. As of right now Im sold out but I will keep yall posted.

when dealing with measurements of anything where width is detailed, it is referring to left to right. so one of those listings made a mistake and the only way to find out which is right for the 1k, measure the 1k from left to right then go to the store where this is sold and measure the smallest distance from left to right. in the case of this stand the length is referring to top to bottom.

or if jacpot could tell us the EXACT model he has.

I'm not sure I want to rig this to work or not...haven't decided yet.

From what I can tell, it's a 2000XL on the stand anyway, so even telling us the brand won't help owners of the probably narrower 1000

Guitar Center carries On-Stage Stands. So I'm gonna call them and see if they have the model posted in stock. If they do, I'm gonna take a ride over there and check it out for myself and let everyone know the deal.
