any baseline tips

i just got back into bass samples and the 16 levels. 4 the last 3 or 4 years ive been dropen baselines thu my proteus or the novation, ion .xv5080 or the micro q thru midi i need some input on dropen baseline just off the mpc 2xl 16 levels . and what do u do for baselines. o ya only for the cats that sample and chop it up adden live sh^t to the samples and killen em [DIG OR DIE] Nardo if you want to here me hit me up on http://www.myspace.com/nardo
