i was really happy with the quality of music that i bought but im not sure on the price part.

Charlie Byrd - for all we know

george benson - shape of things to come (fricken repress not gatefold)

azymuth - telecommunication

and an Og Pressing of NWA's Dope Man

all for under 60 bucks

IMO, $60 is alot to pay for 11 records...but i'm a stingy bastard, and i don't like to pay more than 3 bucks a record.

on the other hand, i'm not sure what all those are worth according to collector's, but looks like you got some nice vintage pieces with some well known players.
if you're worried about getting ripped off, you should think about picking up a nice record pricing guide.

i think you did well for yourself. depending on where you're located, those prices are gonna vary, and it's tough puttin a price tag on pieces you really want in your collection. i just like hearin about the goldmines for a buck a piece.

I don;t know the vaulue of those but 5 of them I got out the dollar bins in good condition.

yeah i think your still learning you can find some of those in the dollar bins, there not that rare i have found most of those in dollar bins and i must have paid around 10-12 bucks at most.

your learnin tho ,soo next time try to watch out for more rare stuff do some homework and study up on the rare classics then when you go out diggin you can go by the price on the records , but yeah theres no price for some classics you want ,

or whatever record store u go to should have a bargain bin, and dig there

word thanks man, im in love with jazz guitarist and you are right jazz is where its at. i dig soul but not nearly as much as i love jazz

as homie said above you hawaii is usually very dry at thrift shops and at the dollar bin. theirs a bunch of opera and 80s rock records in the 50cent stacks.

i know it may not seem much to those in the mainland where these records are abundant. you know just the common classic names like bob james, wes montgomery, and duke ellington. but down here these records do get really pricey and only two stores here actually stock sections of jazz music. and one store if anything has a break on it dude charges 10+ dollars. its prety weird the store that i went to is usually dry but i went there and i was a bit supprised

werd em up. thanks for the tip gyeah man havent been to garage sales but i have been through thrift shops and they just got the same stuff, shittty opera records (just junk cause its not my style havent found one really good decent sample) but gyeah gotta try that garage sales in the older areas over here

Check out the Flea Market at Aloha Staium on the weekends.I'm from Pearl City but haven't been back in awhile(6 yrs.) but i think they still do that on the weekends right?
