That's a waste of time and money. You may be able to find some cool sounds here and there, but unless you want to make beats that sound like 80's power ballads...I suggest you leave those records alone.

yeah it all denps on your taste in music ,

i would probally get them cause i spin 80's music and alot of this stuff is 80's and was very popular back then

,in less your a dj and can use or you spin that, then get it and i would probally only pay 20 bucks at the most you can find alot of those in the stores and in the bins for .25 cents to a dollar

but yeah theres not much to sample inless you want to make some euro pop stuff.

A lot of the stuff Alchemist samples is from the 80's.

I sampled a lot of 80's stuff. Rock, R&B. I sampled some Lionel Richie pitched it up and made a really hard beat. Got it off the same album that has Endless Love with Diana Ross....that's a beautiful song

but you can find dope stuff on any record any type of genre. I flipped some wierd old smelly people polka record once and it came off pure Hip Hop. This particular lot though...your not going to find all that much, and none of it is rare. Your mom and aunty would be able to pick out the samples, and that wouldn't be too cool.

Actually this thread made me want to sample a well known 80's pop ballad type tune.

No more than $5. Like another poster wrote, you'll probably be able to find most of those records for $0.25 or $0.10 each over time.
