MPC 2000 xl beats

i can give u 2 cd-r's full of some nice drum sounds from drum machines and real drummers for $15 if u wanna do it got all types of sounds

Supposedly, the original sample CD from the 2KXL included the sample sounds from its' predecessors (60, 3000 & 2000) and the 2KXL soundsets/programs. So lampdog PM me if u want 2 let go of that shrink-wrapped piece of nostalgia u holdin
Although it might serve u well 2 keep it, pass along the above rumor and up the re-sale value when it's time 2 upgrade.

if you wanna shape your own drums then don't pay out for sample cds etc, sample sounds from cd's/vinyl and the mpc can do a million things to shape those sounds, i've turned an open hat into a nice snappy clap after pitching it up & layering it with another clap, but that takes a lot of trial & error & hours learning the mpc so like someone said if you don't wanna do that just get a workstation

also, analogue machines like the Roland SH-101 are great making kicks & snares to sample into the mpc, and most cheap sound modules have some decent percussion
