Good question. I know there's an option on the 1k to "save entire memory" (I think, never used it).

Will this save the entire state of the 1k as it is? Including mixer, effects, etc.

Mixer settings are saved with the program.
FX settings are saved with the ALL file, created when you select SAVE ALL SEQS AND SONGS.

Mixer settings are part of the PGM file.. So if you save that, the mixer settings for the program will remain intact... Saving entire memory has the same effect because it saves the current PGM file, which includes the mixer data...

really? i thought you had to save all??

even if the mixer saves like this, then the EFX and such will have to be re-applied. they shoul dhave had that fixed, that would be nice to save it all as a PGM...

But what if you use the same program for a different song? Is that when saving all programs comes into effect?
