a real newbie newbie question

yo..sup im a real stranger to this device...samplers of any sort i have no real knowledge of,but i would like to know more

basically EVERYTHING...i dont kno much at all bout samplers,any please link me to an indepth site that shows me the ins and outs of this machine?...im keen on learning more about this type of equipment

thats the thing tho..i came into these forums head first and ended up reading a whole bunch a stuff i didnt understand...a lot of terms i do not know of ...so,and also the mods or the vets on this site seem bored of answering the same o'questions ..i kinda need a tutor...where i am not many people know of these tools unless they work in the music industry(..sumthing im aiming for)..or have a studio and i dont have many links that go that far

so....just a beginners guide to this tool..the ins and outs

i dont know ANYTHING about this machine...and its best i learn while im young and serious about this..so any links to beginner tutorials would be nice..ive google and im quite frustrated as there is mainly faqs guides on actual techniques rather than how to operate one....

If there is a music store anywhere in your area go down there and try a little hands on research.The mpc is a hell of a machine but might not be exactly what you need.The only way to know is to get your hands "dirty."I'm sure you could even meet some people in your area at open mics,on the bus,in school,somewhere that has some gear that can let you come by and check out their set-up.I know it's hard to make a decision like this and i know you've googled equipment but maybe try again but be more specific ie.mpc1000/60/2000/4000/3000 etc.Maybe even download a pdf of the manual just to get a better idea of what does what and look into books about production to clear up some of the terms to production.http://www.wikipedia.com<-------This will help you get familiarized with alot of terms.Good luck.

sup man... i had the same problem as u did a couple of months ago b4 i decided to save up for an mpc...
im just gonna have to agree with stryke on this one.... go to a music store.. thats where i started... and if the guy is bored out of his mind (if theres noeone in the store) start askin him questions...
plus u gotta read up... i read up on this magazine called scratch... they dont tell you how these machines work.. but it gives you an idea of how the biggest producers in the game think... which is if u ask me... very key
then after that u start reasearching on this site... after u reasearch and get a small idea of how things work.. start askin ure questions... try do be sure that uve done ure reasearch on that question... cuz if u havent, then theres no point of askin... if u do ure reasearch... ure gonna end up being dependant of ureself..if u start askin the guys in da forum all types of questions that you havent reasearched... then ur egona start depending on them which isnt good
