Please help!

I have an MPC 2000 XL with a Triton LE and Mophatt. I have the LE on Midi A and the mophatt on midi B. I am getting frustrated because i cannot sequence more than one midi channel on either piece of HW. Please help me understand the settings that need to be done on the MPC in order to sequence with both of these modules using 16 channels of midi for each. (I know the the Triton LE is a keyboard but im using it as a module for its sounds)

Please help as I have been trying to figure this out for awhile... Thank you!

When you track you need to set the channel as midi to do so put the cursor on drum then turn the data knob to the left....it should now say midi....move the cursor over one space to the right and use the data knob to set your midi track. Please make sure your cables are hooked up right. Keep spinning the data knob and you will see the midi b appear after 16 a

Good Luck,
Phatz

You have to setup your sound modules to "multi" (multitimbral). I know you have to do that for all sound modules u wish to sequence on the mpc. Then of course in your MPC you gotta set the track to MIDI, and select the channel from there. Consult your modules manual on how to setup sequencing on an external sequencer. Hope this helps, i dont have either of those modules, but my advice should work for all modules...keep us posted on the goings....
