Song Id Please

I am trying to identify the artist and song of this short audio clip. It was somthing I recorded on tape a long time ago and I'm still trying to figure who the hell this is. Can anybody help? thx

sorry, i don't know for sure, and the audio is kinda distorted, but it definitely sounds like early 90's, and kinda pitched down, it could almost be De La...but most likely not.

i suggest googling some of the lyrics. i've ID'ed a few tracks in this manner.

please let us know who it is when/if you find out.

where did you tape it from? got any local hiphop gurus? i've ID'ed tracks by bringin tapes from radio mixes to the local record store and askin the counter. i think its time you tried different avenues...
