headphone mod

hi! first post on this very ressourceful forum. I learned some tricks on these pages and that got me started much faster.

I got my 60 last week (my old HR16/950 setup was getting limited).

I was wonderin if I could easily add a headphone output to it, as on the mkII...

also my "enter" and "erase" buttons need some extra pressure to operate, any advice on how to fix this ?

I did some research and read the forat store charges $ 100 for the headphone mod... considering their other prices I'd say it's not worth more than $ 50 (unless they use some special 24 carat golden sockets or whatever... no dis to them anyway)

but if anyone has it, I guess many users here would be interested

You could easily just buy a cheap headphone amp from radio shack for $20...
The reason it's expensive is because it's time consuming. They're most likely gonna build the circuit and then they got to do the drilling and soldering.
