has mpc1000 the same sound as the mpc2500?

hi, cant find information about the soundengine from mpc1k. is this the same than the mpc2500? i know its not the same as the mpc2k(xl). i d like to buy a mpc1k eventually, when its sounds good to my ears :-)

yea its the same sample rate and everything, all the 2500 is a lil more os features for the current oS (1.07) and more outputs (just more hardware features)
