In a previous thread, we talked about the note off bug when using MIDI OUTS C and D.

Today, I was doing a track using the XV-5080 connected to MIDI OUT A. with certain notes, I can produce this note-off bug. I disconnected the XV-5080 and connected a Motif ES...no problem. I also tried my Protetus 2000..no problem. Connected the XV back up...and I produced this problem again.

Any MPC 2500/XV-5080 owners out there that can produce the same problem?

i had a problem just a few times and i can't get it to reproduce on command with my fantom x6. It seemed like some of my patches note off didn't work. I made sure to have the sustain petal setting off and i still had to hit stop 3 times to stop the notes from playing. but like i said it is completely random can not produce it on command that is why i haven't posted it yet. I am least familiar with my fantom though so maybe it is a setting in the fantom. but it only has happened to me like 5 times. So don't know what to0 say other than both machines are roland.

Like i said it is random. When it happed to me i tried to duplicate my knob movements and everything else and it didn't do it. It might have been i was doing labor intestive stuff to the sequencer or something. Plus we have to remember in a year from now maybe they will release an os that will tighten up everything. There were at least 3 or 4 os releases after the 2kXL dropped in 97 to fix problems. I need the c and d midi outs other than that i am patient.
