Question regarding Hard drives for the 1000

i'm a fresh out the box MPC user, wita question.

this "32mb bONUS tRACK" CF card that i have would be useless if i decided to install a 60 gig HDD in my MPC 1000 right? since i could just store my samples on the HDD?
