how to load OLD mpc 2k programs/sounds/sequences?

is it easy to upload your files from the old 2k to this new 1k? how can you load them in without having a floppy drive on the 1k? will it read and playback the programs/sounds/sequences with no glitches etc??

As it stands, the MPC1000 will not load SND files, so 2K programs will not load in. You'll need to first convert the SND files to WAV - if you can do that I would imagine the PGM file the 2K produces will load up fine in the 1000 - except the program paramters will not be carried over.
