hi.
im trying to put some samples onto a cd so i can load them up onto my mpc 2000 through my cd drive. but when i go to burn them in nero as a music cd or a data disk it doesnt read it on the mpc,it just says scsi read error.i converted the files to wav before i burned the cd.
also when i tried putting some kicks and snares onto cd it said that the file has to be 2 seconds or more?...
so what do you peeps use to burn your samples ie kicks snares to cd.

any help would be very appreciated, thanx

burn them as audio, then play them with a regular cd player, and sample it from that.

i have a cd drive too, but ive only used it with 1 sample cd that was sold to me with my mpc, vinylistics. so i dont have much experience with is.

I have an external c.d. player with the digital outs but it's so much easier to record by using the headphone in going to the mpc in.So,basicly you can do it how D said but use the headphone in.
