qUESTION ABOUT SONGS

First hi to everyone, im from argentina
I read the manual and searched in the forum, but didnt find what im wondering...
When you are using the MPC for playing live, how do you fire a song after another? I think maybe the best way is to convert the songs to sequences, and then load all your songs (now as sequences) and fire them with the next seq button. Is it that correct? I didnt tried it yet, couse i dont have more than a few sequences made and only one song.

you're heading in the right direction. unless someone has a different method, i would do exactly as you suggested.

Hopefully all of your songs and sequences use the same arrangement of pads, programs and tracks. If they don't then you will hear wrong instruments triggered w/ different programs. And it is going to piss you off to the highest degree.

i recognize and respect your position as supreme monitor, but are you sure this is true? i just played to my mpc this past weekend on 4 tunes, they used similar programs, but not all in the same track order and everything was fine. saving the settings saves all the right track order independently for each song/sequence i thought, and there's no need to have each sequence replicate the same track order.

maybe i'm wrong, wouldn't be the first time
