StepEdit, duration off notes.

If I dont want to use the note off function, and want to cut off notes by changing the duration off em in the step edit, how long shuold u set em?


if the first note starts 1.01.00

and the second starts at 1.02.00

how long sould the duration of the first note be?

is it 95, or 96? or something different?

Can't you play the sequence while in step edit? If so, I'd just tweak it until it sounds right.

1 beat = 96 ticks

"1 beat = 96 ticks"

so if the sample is on the first tick in a beat. and I want the next one to start at the next beat... should I put the duration on the first sample on 95 or 96?
