The zip is connected to the mac g4/OS9 and the 3000le. Using mpcpgmmaker I am saving to a target disk. Then loading into the mpc. Finally I am saving the files that were loaded back to a master zip disk.
problem one: once I've saved to the master and try to reload an error appears saying the file is internally corrupted its internal type ID doesn't match it's three name extension. These are all .snd files, and also the zips were formatted on the mpc.
problem two: once saved on the first run all files are not visible. the g4 sees one file while the mpc may or may not see another.
I've been trying to figure this out on my own to avoid posting another zip question but what the f%&k! I've tried three different disks, and the machine passed the diagnostic test, so what can it be? And yes...the drive has been terminated. I've invested too may hours, I'm ready to get to work.
