Alright, i know it's a bit old school now, but im still running windows 98 on my pc. And my computer doesn't recognize the mpc as a driver. Is there something I can downolad that would help me out??

98 has issues with usb to begin with


upgrading will be your best bet

i had the same problem, thats why i dont have a computer to use music for.

its not possible at all, you need to code your own drivers for that...

Hate to bring it to ya but there is no way to get that to work
USB has been added to windows since 98 sec edtion. Back then you needed special drivers for all your usb devices. Specially sine PNP on usb only got introduced with xp and w2k so get an serious update !!!!

mmm, I think it could work with the right driver. Or you have to buy a card reader which has w98 drivers.

do you have 98? or 98 SE? SE improved the usb drivers in them.

hah 98 usb DOES work but its so unstable. my printer used to work on 98. you wont get it with 1st edition tho - not for a storage device.

you might have some luck with SE. i wouldnt count on it - or even worry about trying.

ME and up will work

you need to just upgrade instead of wasting yo time

but you might not have the money. who knows

... I know what im talking about..
