from pc into the 2000xl

Hi I would like to get some samples into my mpc2000xl from pc and vice versa do I need to buy a sound card with midi? Is there any software that converts the akai formats to pc and vice versa using floppies if possible compatable with xp

the xl should read .wav files. no conversion needed.

you can use floppies. you can use zip drives. you can use harddrives. you can use cd drives (i think). you can use a card reader. there's many ways to save/load samples into the mpc.

of course if you dont want to use the floppies, you have to buy the other kind of drive. but zip drives are pretty cheap. check out ebay. you could probably find one for $20 bucks

i got zips as well but to transfer data i mean.... for example adisk software for s3000xl sampler any good software to recomand, that reads the mpc format
