Satisfied since I know that the bugs are there and know how to avoid them. If I didn't know...I would most likely be pissed.

I like it, but for the money I like my Fantom better. Sorry but it has much more on offer. The overall build and sound quality is better . Not hating on my Mpc but if you already own a 2000xl or a 1000 I don't see the point in buying one. The usb feature is cool when it works ,but when it doesn't its annoying. The chop feature really is no time saver . The only thing thats really worth the price is the phrase sample BPM match. The fantom has no bugs and the sampler is awsome and sounds better than the 2500 IMO. If you want to save some $$$ and you are only going to use it for drums just buy a 1000 or a used 2000xl.

Ive got a 2000xl, but the 2500 seems like it will bring me up to speed. Im sick of floppy disks, I want that internal hard drive. I want the effects, I want the cd drive.
P.s I have another question. Is this machine faster when it comes to time stretching and stuff like that.

Fantom??? Not the same thing..but since you like it so much, I have a Fantom X6 that I could let go. My kids have lost interest in it so I may just let it go since I have the Fantom XR.

If you just want the EXTRAS that the 2500 offers then go for it . Its the same reason why I upgraded. Is it worth a grand to up grade, Well I guess so. Its worth it if your still using floppys and want a hard drive and the CF card is cool too. I have no complaints I'm happy with it .
