hey,

I was was talking to my friend adam who bought the 2500 a few days ago. and he was like.. yo i wanna trade for your 2000xl. and i was like whhhaaatttt... whats wrong with the 2500.. he said he didnt like the sequencing and "you have to work around the machine, it doesnt work around you" so im thinking if i should go thru with the trade? is the sequencing really that different/hard/difficult?

im attatched to the side with my xl so let me know whats up?

I would trade in a heartbeat. Only thing stopping me is mine is the orange se2. I love my stock color. Other than that, I'd trade quickly. the little bugs that have been discovered on the 2500 will be worked out in time, I wouldn't even hesitate. You get an EASY upgrade to a potentially stronger machine, why not.

Is his BRAND new or was it used?
That would be a factor in my decision also.

NO MACHINE works around you. You work around the machine.
What is he thinking? Has his train of thought derailed?

lol word lampdog

he bought it new like a few days ago and just hates it.

my xl is also new so i mean, with the eb16 card in my xl, upgraded memory, it should end up being a good trade.

anything on the sequencing?

both new, good deal.

I'd do it. Why don't you guys, do like a temporary trade for like a week and see if you like each others machine and see if you really wanna do it.

You don't need to ask questions because you are one of the few people who actually can TRY it and DO it cause you have a 2500 right there to test out ya feel?

Go ahead and test it out.. If I could get a 2500 colored the exact same way as my xl I'd do it right now.

he sounds like he doesnt know what he's doing or talking about cuz, its really not a significant difference

actually the sequencing is identical

I say trade it but u might loose a friend cuz once he finds out there is no real diff. he's gonna want the 2500 back

Yep it does. I tried making beats on a regular grey/white xl and couldn't do it. The 2kxlse2 red/white pads, are a touch softer than the normal xl. I had a NEW 2kxl first of all, then I traded and got a new se2. I noticed the pads were softer. and the color makes me feel good.

It makes a difference. It's like pimpin your mpc w/ another color, you feel better. Mine just happen to come standard like that.
