DAMN IM REALLY GOING CRAZY TRYING 2 DECIDE WHAT TO COPP...AN MPC2000XL OR THE NEW 1000...BOTH OF THEM HAVE THERE PRO,S AND CONS...BUT I STILL DONT KNOW...AND ITS SEEMS THAT EVERYONE ON THA 2000XL BOARD SAID GET A 2000 BUT EVERYONE ON THA 1000 BOARD SAIS GET A 1000...SO IM STILL AT SQUARE 1..
IN THE 1000 I REALLY LIKE THE USB DRAG AND DROP FEATURE...I THINK THATS A GREAT IDEA..BUT THEN AGAIN..IS IT REALLY THAT BIG OF A DEAL USING A ZIPDRIVE AND FLOPPYS? ALSO WHAT EXACTLY IS TIMESTRECH? CAUSE I HEAR THE 1000 DOESNT HAVE IT....COULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN IT TO ME...DAMN I JUST CANT DECIDE...ALSO PEOPLE ARE TELLIN ME THE 2KXL HAS A STRONGER,HARDER HITTING SOUND AND THE 1000 HAS A CLEAN WEAKER SOUND...SO THAT MAKES ME WANNA GO FOR THA 2KXL...I CAN GET BOTH FOR ABOUT THE SAME PRICE...SO I DONT KNOW...HELLPP!!

If you want a more pro box get the 2xl
but it costs more and no 128 ram and no sounds and no efx (standard, have to pay) no outs extra (standard, have to pay)
bang for buck... 1000 easy as that, take it from me.
I had a 2000 loaded all the goodies for a long time. I had no time stretch and I did fine with out it. That's a wav editor is for.

If this isn't what you want start small, get a emu-PX7
its a good box and in a cost range most can afford, it has crazy sounds in it along with synth sounds. A great box to start with and makes it easy to expand your studio in the future.

yeah this is my FIRST mpc..so i want to make the right decision...ive been saving up and dreaming of owning one for like 3 years now...at first i was deciding between a triton and mpc...but i ended up choosing the mpc..beacuse most of my fav beats were done with the mpc...i was SO certain i was gonna copp the 2kXL but then just when i got the money together they dropped the 1000 so im back to square one trying to debate which one 2 copp...damn this is confusin..LOL
