Well get pc audio interface w/ at least 8 ins so u can break out into 8 tracks in protools. A used digi001 will do you just fine with protools (I have a digi001 but I use VEGAS not ho-tools..

do you have the 8outs on your mpc?

what mpc do you have?

Thanks L.D.

NSP, why don't you get a good grip on using your MBox and Pro Tools before you get a hardware mxing interface. After you do a little bit, you may find that mixing on-screen is enough for you.

Now some people don't like on-screen mixing. Others love it. I am cheap and I use the screen. And like Lampdog, I use Digi 001. (L.D. I recent;y got a Lucid AD2496 -2 channel analog to digital convertor and have it hooked up via Digi001's coxial in and I clock everything from that. I swear it sounds cleaner and sharper.)

That's my lil opinion.

Peace.

yeah i have been using the mbox for a little more then half a year already and i really dont like to be playing with the mouse and such and thats why i been thinking getting a control interface for more hands on. i would like to get the command 8 from digi but i just got on some monitors so i would have to wait for that for now.
