ok i know this is a VERY stupid question...but is an mpc2000xl compatible and capapble of using wav files from a pc?...like for example if i loaded wav files onto a zip disc or a cd rom and then put the wav cd into a scsi cd rom connectd 2 my mpc2000XL would i be able to use them? cause i have like 3000 WAV samples from my fruity loops days and i want to know if i can use them with a 2000xl..beacuse i know the new 1000 has a usb plug so u can just drag and drop...

odds are alot of the sounds are already 16bit but if they arent most audio progs like soundforge, cool edit, and sonar can do it. There are also alot of shareware and free progs that will do it for you try this site they have alot of trial and free software for that type of thing http:\\www.hitsquad.com

make shure that you burn the wav files as data on a cd rom änd not as audio because i made that mistake.
